💛 INGREDIENTS 💛
1 cup gram flour
2 tablespoons rice flour
1/2 teaspoon asafetida
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon carom seeds, rubbed with hands
1/2 teaspoon green chili paste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup water (or as needed)
2-3 medium-sized potatoes, cut into slices
Oil for frying
💚 INSTRUCTIONS 💚
In a bowl, combine and whisk all the ingredients except potatoes and oil.
Heat oil in a deep pan.
Dip each potato slice in the batter and carefully slide into the hot oil.
Fry until golden and cooked through.
Try not to overcrowd the pan and work in small batches.
Drain the bhajias on a plate lined with a kitchen towel.
Serve hot Bhajiya with sweet chutney and coriander chutney.
