💛 Ingredients 💛
Pizza dough:
Combine the following to make a dough and let it rise for 30-40 minutes:
2 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pinch of sugar
2 tablespoon olive oil
Water as needed
Sauteed veggies:
Saute the following in a pan until semi-soft:
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 green capsicum, chopped
1/2 tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons coriander, chopped
Pinch of chili powder
1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
Other:
2 cups pav bhaji
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
Butter to brush the dough edges and Stromboli after baking.
💚 Instructions 💚
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
Line a baking tray and coat with cooking spray.
Lightly flour a work surface and rolling pin.
Roll Pizza Dough into a rectangle shape.
Spread it with pavbhaji, leaving a 1-inch border around the dough edges on all sides.
Top pav bhaji with sauteed veggies and with mozzarella cheese on the top.
Apply butter in all the corners, with the help of a brush.
Fold 1 inch of the dough over the filling on both the short sides of the rectangle.
Now fold the long ends over the filling, pinching the dough together at the corners.
Roll the dough, starting at one of the long ends, as tightly as possible.
Transfer the roll, seam side down, to the prepared baking tray.
Bake for 30 minutes, until the bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
Once baked, brush it with butter on all the sides.
Transfer to a cutting board and let cool.
Cut into small pieces and serve.
