💛 Ingredients 💛
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups water
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons ghee
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon split urad dal
10-12 curry leaves
1 tablespoon green chilies, chopped/slit
2 tablespoons capsicum, chopped
2 tablespoons carrots, chopped
2 tablespoon tomato, chopped
1 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt (or as per your taste)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
💚 Instructions 💚
In a pan, heat oil and ghee.
Add urad dal, mustard seeds, and cumin. Let it crackle/splutter.
Add in all the veggies and saute for 1 minute.
Add curry leaves and oats. Keep mixing for few minutes.
Slowly add water into it by stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Add salt, sugar, and lemon juice.
Mix well and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add coriander and serve hot with your favorite chutney.
